Each piece of Ruth NY jewelry is designed by Ali before being crafted by either Ali herself or some of the best craftsmen in New York City’s diamond district. All are crafted in recycled solid 14k gold and responsibly-sourced gemstones. Pieces are made to be played with, stacked, and collected, with the idea that modern heirlooms can both be affordable and last a lifetime! Every piece is customizable, just reach out, and we’ll make it happen!

In 2020, Ali started Ruth NY with a simple desire: to create nostalgic, whimsical pieces she couldn't find anywhere else.
What began as a passion project quickly caught the attention of others, and we are so grateful that our designs have found a place in the hearts of many.
Ruth NY's pieces reflect Ali's love for creating adorable, meaningful jewelry that captures the joy of childhood and the beauty of growing up.
about the designer
Pennsylvania-born Alison (Ali) Ruth Dickson is a self-made jewelry designer with a strong foundation in metalsmithing. She honed her skills through apprenticeships with world-renowned jewelry artists, gaining invaluable experience and insight into the craft.
Ali has spent almost a decade designing for some of the industry's most well-respected brands. When an opportunity arose to join a shared jewelry workspace in 2020, she seized the opportunity to create for herself again.
She lives with her long-haired chihuahua, Tini, in Brooklyn. You can find her cooking, knitting, or doing the crossword puzzle when she's not in the studio!
